one cup of vinegar to five gallons of water. Massage the foam in the vinegar and warm (NOT HOT) water solution to dissolve the crystallized salts then rinse the foams in clear water; squeeze, but do not wring, to remove excess water. Lay the foam flat to dry then reinsert in cover.

How to stuff the foam inserts back into the pad.

Washing Instructions. Wash in cool to low water and dryer.  Never use HOT WATER OR DRYER on COVER OR FOAM INSERTS.

Open the insert envelope and remove the foam inserts.
Use about 2 - 3 tablespoons of detergent (DO NOT USE WOOL-LITE).
Depending on how dirty the pad is you might want to add 1-2 Tablespoons of Oxi-plus to the water
Have defoamer used in Spas handy for those time you may have added too much soap.
A couple of tablespoons will get rid of all the suds.
Rinse and cool dry.  NO BLEACH.

Inserting the foam into pads.
All foams have a number located in the upper corner. The number is always located on top and faces forward
.

Place the foam on the top of the envelope to make sure the foam conforms to the pocket shape.

Roll up the foam like a tube or you can place the foam around your arm and hold on to the foam and gently place the foam in the pocket.

Open the Velcro, stick your arm in the sleeve and open up the fabric pocket.

Hold the foam at the bottom edge and begin inserting the foam into the pocket.
The foam is in a roll and when the foam reaches the end of the pocket you can begin to flatten the foam and work the foam into position, using both hands to keep the foam and pad together. After you have positioned the foam and if you find the foam needs to move down in the pocket you can hold the pad with the Velcro vertical and shake the foam down in the pad. It wasn’t that bad. was it?

Now you are ready to close up the Velcro.
that wasn't that bad was it                            You are done…Happy Trails.

Don’t forget to wash the foams.
Use a solution of 2 cups of vinegar to 2 or more gallons of warm (not hot) water.
Let the foams sit for about 15- 20 minutes.
Compress the foams in an up and down motion.
Rinse in warm (not hot) water until the water is clear.
Use two towels and sandwich the foam in between the towels,
wrap them up like a cigar then step on the from right to left.
The foams should be near dry and ready to insert into the pad.
